Web 2.0 is a web design that is aimed to increase creativity, information sharing and functionality. Web 2.0 has developed into more hosted services such as social networking sites such, blogs and video sharing sites (e.g. www.youtube.com). It is a new version of the WWW but not an update by technical matters, just more changes in the software. Web 2.0 is now a more high speed internet connection, browser based software programme. Web 2.0 effects me as a :-
- Consumer by allowing me to view other peoples videos and pictures and sites they have put up along with thier blogs to either stay on touch with them, for personal enjoyment or even to keep up to date with what people are focusing alot on at the moment.
- Producer by allowing me to share my own personal videos or pictures for others to view and to also share my own thoughts and opinions in my own self-made sites and blogs
